We had a great vacation in this slice of paradise. Everything from the sound of the ocean, to the birds chirping away in the morning, made this stay memorable. The kids lived in the pool as we relaxed by the ocean under the almond tree. Thanks for a great gorgeous getaway. We can’t wait to go back.
Shandison Villa Overview
Shandison Villa is a 4,000 sq. ft. six-bedroom oceanfront villa in Tobago Plantations Estate. Thoughtfully upgraded in 2022, the villa combines spacious Caribbean-inspired interiors with modern amenities and generous indoor-outdoor living areas.
The villa’s open-plan living and dining spaces overlook the infinity pool, whirlpool and Atlantic coastline. It is fully air-conditioned and surrounded by landscaped tropical gardens, with an outdoor shower, private sea pool and ocean deck for enjoying the coastal setting and Tobago sunsets.
Outdoor Spaces
Shandison Villa sits on just over one acre of oceanfront land and is designed for relaxed outdoor living. The plantation-style covered veranda features ceiling fans, an eight-person dining set and comfortable lounge seating overlooking the infinity pool and whirlpool.
The pool deck includes shaded seating, cantilever umbrellas and custom tandem loungers. It opens onto a landscaped tropical garden leading to the villa’s private sea pool and ocean deck.
At night, carefully positioned garden and pool lighting creates an inviting setting for outdoor dining, relaxation and private celebrations.
Outdoor Cooking
The outdoor cooking area features a custom two-burner ring stove suitable for preparing family-style meals and dishes requiring high heat or larger cookware.
A stainless-steel gas barbecue grill is also available for relaxed outdoor dining.
Bedrooms
Shandison Villa has six air-conditioned bedrooms designed for comfortable family and group stays. The ground-floor master suites offer convenient access and views of the Atlantic Ocean or tropical gardens. The upper attic bedrooms feature warm, cozy interiors with dormer windows that bring natural light into each space.

Shandison Villa’s tropical gardens attract a variety of birds throughout the morning and evening, creating rewarding opportunities for nature observation and photography.
Award-winning nature photographer William Barrow has documented some of the birdlife found around the villa and Tobago Plantations Estate. The surrounding 750-acre estate also contains several lakes and ponds with water lilies, wading birds and other wildlife.
