The historic Sugar Mill at Tobago Plantations Estate is a quiet heritage stop near Shandison Luxury Villas. Its surviving stone structure is a visible reminder of Lowlands’ plantation-era landscape and the role sugar production once played in Tobago’s history.

The site is more than a photo opportunity. Tobago’s plantation economy relied on the forced labour of enslaved Africans, and the ruin invites visitors to pause, learn, and reflect respectfully on the history held within its walls.
